As seen from the Kitchen, the “Rumford” fireplace is detailed in bed-face limestone.The timber framing, floating within the vault and the roof structure above are reclaimed Douglas Fir with custom fabricated steel connectors, painted to match exterior window frames. The flooring is reclaimed Chestnut with Hickory, Birch and Maple installed in alternating width planks.
